Our shelter volunteers help us clean, feed, and care for the animals that call Angel Paws their temporary home.
 

Volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years of age. A parent or legal guardian must accompany them on their first trip to sign them in. The parent/guardian is not required to stay.

 

You do not have to schedule volunteer hours. In fact, you many volunteer any day of the week including Saturday and Sunday. Please arrive at the shelter at 8 A.M. Depending on how many volunteers/service people we have on that day, we normally finish by noon. You may stay until all work is completed or leave at any time. Any time volunteered is greatly appreciated.

 

Attire: We advise wearing old clothes and non-skid shoes such as tennis shoes, due to the use of bleach and slippery floors. Crocks will not be allowed and please refrain from wearing shorts or tank tops.

 

Please note: We may also have court order service people working here on any given day so you may or may not be working with a person doing court ordered community service.

We can only accommodate a maximum of 5 volunteers/service people on a given day. While we love our volunteers, we will try to accommodate service people first as they have a certain time frame that they must complete their court ordered hours.
